Check Box for Opting a Candidate Out of Texting

Occasionally we have candidates that ask us not to text us anymore. While we know we can ask them to reply back “STOP” to us to opt out of emails, we’d really rather not ask them to take that step when they’ve already asked us to not text anymore. We don’t necessarily want to use the candidate to a “Do Not Use” status just because they responded negatively to one text, and we also don’t want to change their number to an incorrect field (i.e. home phone or something like that) as it could easily get changed back by a user that didn’t notice that correspondence in the future.

Our previous ATS provider supplied a check box next to the mobile phone number that allowed us to opt a candidate out of texting for them. I’d love to see this type of functionality added in Crelate!
