Companies as New Leads in the Sales tab

Recruiters often categorize individual Companies as leads for new business development and sales efforts. When adding an existing Company as a New Lead in the Sales tab, Crelate provides a link to the existing Company Record that we have to click on from the Sales Lead page in order to see company’s full information (i.e., Addresses, Description, Related Contacts, Websites). Having to go back and forth between the Company and Sales sections of the database to find all the pertinent information needed is very time consuming.

We can edit the Lead Form with various Company Fields for a New Lead under the Sales tab, but the Company Fields do not auto-populate with the information that we have already inputted into the Company page. Hence, we would have to add the information for the Company Fields into the Sales Lead again, even if this information is already in the system under the existing Company page. We cannot view Related Contacts at the company when viewing the Sales Lead. Instead, we have to go from the Sales Lead to the Company page section to view the Related Contacts which makes it difficult to track our outreach and notes from the Sales tab.

These workflows make Crelate an inefficient tool to use as a CRM due to the amount of time that is spent going between the Company and Sales sections of the database. Crelate would be a much more effective platform to use as a Sales CRM if all of the information for a specific Lead could be found in the same place. Due to this, we are having to explore different platforms to use as a CRM in addition to Crelate. Thank you!
