Companies in Job Workflow

I’m aware that there is a “Companies to Target” section in the “Strategy” tab, but we are finding that it is not an effective way to actually call through those companies when working on a job.

If I’m wanting to call through 100 companies that I don’t necessarily have contacts on, I don’t have an effective way to link those companies to the workflow of a job without doing some kind of workaround through a seperate company list, and even then, there’s not a good way to create notes without manually setting the regarding field each time.

Ideally, we’d like some way, similar to the Employment Search opportunities, to put companies into the workflow, or expand the use of the “Companies to Target” to display in the Dashboard of the job somehow, and allow us to work through a list of companies to call through specifically related to that job. I could even see it working to configure the “Companies to Target” to allow bulk adding from a search, and then perhaps displaying those companies to target with additional columns with contact info and address info so we can work through that area until we get a contact to put into the normal candidate workflow.

One more idea I could see is utilizing something like the “Other Related Contacts” for contacts without a stage that were regarded that displays at the bottom of jobs. If there were a similar “Related Companies”, to display companies added, but without a specific stage, that may accomplish the same thing.

I understand that the jobs aren’t designed to run companies through the process, so I’m open to different options here. Just want an effective area to call through companies that we don’t have contacts with, or are recruiting out of the company directly for a job.
